Areas of Practice

Mr. Lewis represents clients in three phases of legal proceedings:

1.  Pre-charge. You may know that you're under investigation for a sex crime. Mr. Lewis makes himself available by telephone 24/7, 365 days a week for his pre-charge clients in case they are contacted by police or worried that police will knock on the door to arrest them. Pre-charge fees are applied to the cost of representing clients if they are charged and retain him to defend them.

2. People charged with sex crimes. If you're already charged and seeking counsel, or if you are dissatisfied with your current lawyer, call Mr. Lewis to discuss your case. This includes adults who find themselves accused of acts when they were teenagers or young adults.

3. Post conviction/resentencing. Often people with a sex crime conviction need help with asking the sentencing court to relieve them of their duty to register as a sex offender. Others may have questions about a harsh sentence that was imposed when they were in their teens or twenties. Call Mr. Lewis to discuss your concerns.
