Sex offense allegations exist in a complex arena unlike any other area of law. You require a lawyer with decades of experience and who does only sex offense defense. You do not want a lawyer who represents people in divorces, estate planning or even other types of criminal law like DUI. You need a lawyer who defends sex offenses and only sex offenses. You need a lawyer now to begin managing the information flow between you, the police, your work, friends and family. Waiting has the potential to make your situation more dangerous.

You will not see my face on billboards or television commercials. My clientele is not seeking publicity. I obtain clients by discreet referral. I am the attorney you call when you are in this kind of trouble and require the confidence and peace of mind that you have made the right decision.

I only represent clients charged with sex offenses. I limit the size of my practice, representing only a few clients at one time so you and your defense get the attention that you deserve.  Since my practice is focused on quality of representation and not the volume of my caseload, I am not always available to take on new clients. To check my availability, remember to text or call on your private device, never a work phone, work computer or work device of any kind. If you contact me from a personal device at your place of work, I recommend leaving the premises and making sure you are disconnected from all work related WIFI and Bluetooth connections.  Do not use your work email address and use an email account that you do not use on your work devices or on your work data networks.

I do not charge for private consultations so you do not have a criminal defense lawyer appearing  on your credit card statement before you have even made a decision. Calls and texts with me show only my name, not my firm's identity. Again, call, text or email with your personal devices, not your work devices.

If you retain me, I commence representation immediately and handle all communication with the police and prosecuting authorities for you.

If your charges include a physical act upon another person, adult or juvenile, I immediately evaluate your case, the police reports, the forensic and scientific evidence, the police and civilian witnesses. I work with a group of qualified experts I trust for preparing your defense and testifying; an expert private investigator to conduct detailed background checks on all prosecution witnesses, conduct case investigation and interview witnesses.

As needed in defending you, I bring on board credentialed, experienced scientific experts on DNA, crime scene reconstruction and forensics., psychologists and child psychologists to form expert opinions on your accusers and their motivations.

If you are facing a pornography charge, you likely received no notice, but found your residence or workplace surrounded by Department of Homeland Security Vehicles, you or someone else was handed a warrant, your residence or workplace searched and your electronic devices seized. If this has happened,  you may find yourself in either state or federal court. I am licensed to practice law in Washington State Courts and in the United States District Court, Western Washington Division (federal court). If your case is filed in federal court, I will work to have it moved to Washington State Superior Court.
